candle inside a palm symbolising unity consciousness and hope for humanity a poem written by Timi Orosz

Hope for Humanity

The flickering
The flickering
The flickering light.

What’s it gonna take to push you
Down the page into a history book?
Without the troops,
Without the bruised
Egos, you know you should
Stand up to what’s right for humanity
Right for our sanity
Instead of chasing vanity metrics
You are tearing down the gates of the Matrix
Like a burnt out dominatrix
You drop the pretence
As you relax into speaking the truth
We can’t win this fight without the youth
Without you
Without me
Without the unity
That could be: we.

The flickering
The flickering
The flickering hope.

What’s it gonna take to say “no more”?
Our rights stripped back in plain sight
Is not something we had on our bingo cards
Is my voice just another noise
In your over-stimulated brain?
Or can you erase the hate
Instead of just scrolling with no aim?
It’s insane how we became digitally enslaved
Believing we’re fighting wars with two taps
Too sad
Too late for trends
The freedom of our future is slipping
Right under our fingers
With each scroll and silent anger
We’re silencing our collective anchor
When does it stop?

The flickering
The flickering
The flickering love.

What’s it gonna take to feel we’re enough?
Down the rabbit hole” is above ground
Without judgment
Without adjustment
We could breathe freely side by side
If only we truly tried
And not be tired of the unnecessary hate
We create to keep us separated
This now stops! It starts with us
Saying no more to manipulation,
Limitation and oppressed truths
You know how this unfolds already
When you’re ready to love with equality
But when we label each other
And don’t trust what makes us “us”
The rabbit hole closes up
Leaving Alice forever lost

The flickering
The flickering
The flickering.

You decide if it’s still flickering.

Mind your own business

Press resume on that mental image
Imagining kicking your boss in the teeth
Teething problems in your Desired Reality
Really, is this how you imagined mortality?
Mortal enemies hiding within the media
Mediating for Wikileaks…I mean Wikipedia

[Do you even know what’s an encyclopedia?]

Your mind is your business
So mind your own business
Your mind is your business
So mind your own business
Till you see it in the wounds
That you’re not at all doomed

What if you’re alive because of a purpose?
Purposefully walking away from the circus?
Circles of friends are slowly replaced
Replayed Friday nights, going to waste.
Wanted moments of false happiness
Happily following life’s crappiness

[When were you feeling the happiest?]

Your mind is your business
So mind your own business
Your mind is your business
So mind your own business
Till you see it in the wounds
That you’re not at all doomed

Your existence leaves a mark on humanity
Humanely experiencing the power of unity
United nations, races, beliefs and cultures
Culturally destroying outdated structures
Structure your life with love in the focus
Focusing less on the fake hocus-pocus

[What was that really woke us?]

Do you want to choose liberation?
Do you want to change our generation?
Do you want to have real information?
Do you want to be the inspiration?

Your mind is your business
So mind your own business
Your mind is your business
So mind your own business
Till you see it in the wounds
That you’re not at all doomed

(In the end, it did matter how hard you tried Chester
It helped me imagine the dream, Lennon
It made me believe that change is possible TuPac
It made me find somebody to love Freddy
It helped me fall crazy in love with myself Beyonce)

Thank you all for minding your own business

Time

18.12.2019

Time was not supposed to go this way
Behind the veil you know that it’s astray
Those countless times, could you really ever count them?
Twice the pleasure but how many times the truth: 8-9 or 10?
When you grasp the reality that comes with an expiration date
And no matter how much you fight it, you can’t escape your fate

This might feel a bit too dark so maybe I should stop

Stop showing you that you need to embrace the darkness
Because without it you can never see the brightness
Shining through the black background. That’s how you see the light.
Light up my face
When you embrace
Your hidden parts
Are divisions of art.
Articulate your desires in life
It just might
Bring it to surface
And you can surf through this.

This whole experience called life
Will show you what you’re really about.

So how did we end up here analysing our actions?
Starting to feel so deep about the consequences of life’s fractions
Maybe we are just too out of this world to explain our feelings
And restricted by words to tell everyone the real meaning.
I don’t mean to annoy you with my thoughts
And there are so many of us
Feeling the same way
When we say mayday.

Where is the rescue to save us from our visions?
To keep us grounded in our ambitious missions?

Time was not supposed to go this way
Behind the veil you know that it’s astray
We are impatient because we feel the change knocking on our doors
And we’re not sure who will fight with us during these upcoming wars.

Superficial illusion

22/ 04/2019

You think I need the superficial
For my loyalty to become official
You think that you amaze me with stories
of brands and luxury but they just bored me
I never needed any of that
And every time you did that,
My lips just frowned uncontrollably.
That sad second influenced this poetry
Reflection. Realisation. Sobering.

The times you really made my soul smile
Were when you put on a vulnerable style
When you showed me your insecurities and pain
Your real desires for happiness you couldn’t attain

Those gentle touches on my shoulder to make sure I was not cold again
Those sacrifices to see me smile and not have a reason to complain

When you gave me (without asking) the last piece of chocolate
When you showed me your favourite songs under the blanket
When you thanked me for taking the seeds out of the watermelon
When we quietly watched cartoons and laughed in perfect unison
When you asked me how I could be so patient with you and your concern
When you told me you exactly knew I’m not getting enough back in return

Then the structure shifted.
Then you would say something superficial again. You got stuck in your past.
You kept on reminiscing of how you once lived.
None of that impressed me.
I didn’t care about the photos of expensive cars and watches.
I cared more about your photos of silly faces.
This is obviously not a poem as you can see.
Don’t let the structure fool you.

It’s just a superficial illusion, nothing else.
Mostly what this whole life-sharing experience meant to you.
So that in a few years, when I’m established,
You can say that you lived together with this girl.
To me it meant a whole lot more. I gave you my authentic self.
I showed you my hidden parts and I loved you deeply.
I played no games, no tactics, no illusions.
I truly loved you. All of you. The real you, behind the superficial illusion.
I wish you nothing else but to learn to love yourself the way I did.
Behind the scenes, away from the stories. For who you really are.

Because you are wonderful.

Sexual art

26/01/2018

It was not a game we played, yet I feel like I lost

When we rolled the dice
We realised
What we wanted the most
Was what we have lost
The effect came afterwards of course
We didn’t think it through, I suppose
But it’s too late now to undo this
As my lips shiver for just one more kiss
How I imagine your fingers dig into my neck
There’s no way we can ever go back

The frequency of your voice
Sends me into a shock
My body vibrates
Blood pressure on high rates
Muscles tighten up
Your palm becomes a cup
Holding body parts
It’s sexual art

A whiff of your scent sets fire to my nerves
And the desire to feel your body on me burns
It burns through my rational thoughts and judgement
You breath in, I breathe out, no need for adjustment
Time eventually ceases
Our connection increases
I exhale the sweet sounds of joy
You watch me elevate and shake, enjoy!

The frequency of your voice
Sends me into a shock
My body vibrates
Blood pressure on high rates
Muscles tighten up
Your palm becomes a cup
Holding body parts
It’s sexual art

Just when I think I can’t take it anymore
You pull me closer into you, encore
But the best part is not the multiple joy
Not even the fact that I completely lost control
But it’s the truth that we united and became one
Without you in my life I’m absolutely undone.

Trip over yourself

01/04/2017

Dream with me and live without me
Tomorrow might be just a fantasy
And apologising to me will be a courtesy
Dancing around the pieces of our broken dreams
Might help you to forget me. Go on and heal.
The truth might be buried deep

But the heart sees
Beneath the lies,
The cries,
The begging.

Begin the new trip. And trip over yourself
In the process
Because pain now means less
That is a new Yes.

That’s all

31/07/2018

I’m not mad at you
I don’t feel anger nor any hurt
My soul just seeks answers
It wants to see the truth and nothing else,
That’s all.

I am not mad at any of you
Your actions are not my path
They purely belong to you,
Nobody else. I just keep ‘the one’ eye to see reality,
That’s all.

I am not mad at myself either
Every event is another lesson
Learning is a beautiful journey
It goes deeper each time to bring more light,
That’s all.

I am not mad at the world either
This is not a poem nor modern art
There are no structured rhymes here
Don’t let the shape of this fool you; it’s a reality illusion.

That’s all.
